Jul 12, 2011 · I run Norton 360 version 5 and do full scans regularly. I recently did a full scan and it took over 3 hours to scanned 732,970 files. It's never taken that long and has never scanned that many files.

The big deal is that I didn't want to have to leave my computer on for 10 or 11 hours at a time, just because MSE took that long to do a full scan! So after my last clean re-install of Windows 7, I decided to give Norton Internet Security 2010 a try instead and thankfully, I have experienced no problems whatsoever with that.
